Dawn Flowers Ceiling Zero
Dame Glass View Pyramid
Victory Sculpture Sparkle Shadow

The ethereal Aurora Borealis shimmered against the winter stars as I flew through the night and into the dawn. Hyde Park near Buckingham Palace looked beautiful in the freshly fallen snow, but the delicate flowers must have been shivering. It was much warmer inside the British Museum, where a lattice ceiling let in the light, but kept out the cold.

I left England to spend New Year's in the heart of France. Notre Dame felt majestic, both from the outside as well as the inside. And what a view from the towers.

It still amazes me that some people objected vehemently to the design of the L'Ouvre pyramid. The Winged Victory of Samothrace was fantastic in real life, but my favorite sculpture was a very simple piece at the Musee D'Orsay. Of course, I had to visit the sparkling Eiffel Tower before returning home.

Feel welcomed again...
